A central Laughlin landmark, the Edgewater Hotel Casino's brilliant white 26-story tower stands out against blue skies and purple mountain ranges. A cool blue neon "waterfall" cascades down its face. Inside, hand-painted native American designs adorn every wall. A friendly, relaxed atmosphere prevails in this riverfront resort.
The Edgewater's 60,000 square foot casino has over 1,450 slot and video poker machines from 5-cents to $5.00 machines. Enrollment in the All-Cash Winners Edge Players Club is free.
The Edgewater has 45 gaming tables with Blackjack ($2 min. mid-week), Caribbean Stud, Craps, Let it Ride Poker, Pai Gow Poker, Roulette ($1 min. mid-week) and Stud Poker ($1-$5 min. mid-week). Seven Card Stud and Texas Hold 'Em feature a Bad Beat Jackpot for each game as well as a "Super Bonus Jackpot." Three Craps tables with a mid-week $2 min., poker room with five tables, Laughlin's largest Race & Sports Book with 200 seats, two keno lounges.
The Edgewater has five retail outlets, open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Petroglyphs offers southwestern art in general, ancient native American rock carving and painting as art in particular. Edgewater Logo Shop has postcards, glassware, dice, t-shirts, sweat-shirts, magnets, film, snacks, cigarettes, magazines and news papers. E. W. Boutique features fun merchandise, including costume jewelry, hair accessories, colorful items, rhinestones and glitter.
The Edgewater has three towers with 1,426 guest rooms and 24 suites. Nearly one-third are non-smoking. Rooms rates: Sunday - Thursday, $20.00, suites $100.00+. Friday - Saturday $36.00, suites $150.00+. Deluxe rooms Sunday -Thursday $38.00, weekends $45.00. In-room guest services include a continental breakfast, pay-per-view movies, cable and satellite television. Guest services include a hair styling salon, gift shop, free parking, boat and RV parking with free shuttle bus service 24-hours a day. Live entertainment offered in the show room lounge. The hotel's sun deck features a pool, spa, wet bar serving sodas, beer and specialty drinks (open weekends April - Oct., daily during the summer). The Little Belle and Fiesta Queen riverboats docked at the Edgewater offer daily tours of the Colorado River with air conditioned indoor lower decks and open air upper decks with bar services.
Restaurants and Deli
Edgewater's Hickory Pit - steaks and seafood entrees as well as barbecued ribs and chicken, in "Old West" decor. Edgewater Buffet - The Edgewater's award-winning Bountiful Buffet has three sixty-foot serving lines with over 55 items. Health-conscious diners will appreciate low-calorie, low-fat and low-cholesterol menu items served at every meal. The all-you-can eat breakfast buffet features fresh seasonal fruit and fresh baked pastries plus favorite breakfast menu items. Breakfast served 6 to 11:00 am daily.
The Edgewater's lunch buffet includes fat-free pasta, potato salads, low-calorie salad dressings for tossed green salads. The desert bar is open for lunch, offers an excellent selection of fresh baked cakes, cookies, mousses, pies and tortes for the buffet. Food and Beverage Director Rob Rov recommends the sugar free, fat free frozen yogurt at the dessert bar - "It's fabulous, better than ice cream, hands down!" Open 11:30 am to 2:30 pm daily. For dinner the Buffet features a variety of entree items and roast baron of beef and Virginia baked ham is carved nightly. The Edgewater promises a great meal at a great price. Open 3:00 to 10:00 pm daily. The all-you-can-eat Buffet seats over 600 people.
Garden Room - The Edgewater's 24-hour Garden Room restaurant is offering six new special lunch menu items. From homemade chicken pot pies to chicken quesadillas between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Also offered are Chicken or Beef Fajitas, Stuffed Potato Skins, Monterey Melt with a view of the Colorado River and the Arizona skyline.
Winner's Circle Deli offers both hot and cold deli sandwiches, pizza, the famous half-pound hot dog, shrimp cocktails and a variety of pastries from the Edgewater's own bakery.
Group rates for 10 or more rooms are available by calling (800) 283-1117. If your group plans include a weekend stay at the Edgewater, the Friday-Saturday rate was $32.00 per room per night and included two fun books. Weekend rates do not apply to Saturday arrivals.
