Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall

The Pioneer has 414 rooms and suites, 80 rooms which overlook the Colorado River. The motel is adjacent to Pioneer's Gambling Hall . Room rates vary from $18.00 to $75.00 a night for standard rooms to suites and day of the week. The Pioneer is a very busy place with a loyal following by both locals and out of towner's. The property is very attractive and has several outdoor decorations that sets it apart from the rest of the casinos in town.

The Pioneer is decorated in western decor throughout the property, including the hired hands (employees & supervisor personnel). The Pioneer has four antique twenty-five cent cowboy type slot machines with six-shooters in the casino which give you a sporting chance to win $5.00 if your lucky spin comes up three bars, $50.00 if you come up with the three-seven's on the nickel machine.

The full-service hotel has a River Rick's Boarding House Restaurant and Buffet, Fast Draw Snack Bar with a half-pound hot dog for $1.75, chili cheese dog's for $2.50, shrimp cocktail for $0.99, Granny's Gourmet Room for fine dining. Relax at one of the two bars including Sassy Sue's River Bar where you can sip a favorite drink while playing one of the in-bar poker slot machines. If your really thirsting try one of the 60-ounce Monster Margaritas in Sassy Sue's. On Sunday enjoy an old-fashioned champagne brunch in Granny's World Class Gourmet dining room upstairs for $21.95. Nightly specials: complete live Main lobster or Porterhouse steak dinners for $21.95 Tuesday thru Sunday starting at 5 p.m. Reservations required.

The Pioneer has 15 gaming tables and a Poker Room with single deck 21, Omaha hi-lo split, Roulette, Seven Card Stud, Texas Hold 'em, 2 craps tables, 905 slot machines, keno and Nevada's oldest and largest slot club, the "Round-Up Club." The General Store sells gift items and everyday necessities, open 24-hours. The Pioneer has a tennis court, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, video arcade and smoke shop.

The Pioneer features "Double Jackpot Time" every 15-minutes, 24-hours a day, liberal slots, large jackpots and a $100,000 "Big Bucks" slot tournament which draws locals and keeps them coming back.
