The Searchlight Nugget is a neat little casino with great food, reasonable prices and it's the "Home of the Dime Cup of Coffee." Yes, they still charge ten cents for a cup of coffee and offer free refills. We always stop there for a meal and of course the ten-cent coffee.
The restaurant is always busy when we stop. We've never had an bad meal. Service is always friendly and fast with a staff of eight or more working in the kitchen and restaurant. The restaurant seats 140.
Searchlight is at the intersection of routes 95 and 164 between Boulder City and Laughlin.
In addition to the restaurant the Searchlight Nugget has 99 slot and video machines including an old western style "Mills Black Beauty" cowboy slot machine. To keep you honest the cowboy keeps his six-shooter drawn at all times to make sure everyone behaves like their suppose to and to protect his eight-dollar jackpot. One hundred sixty nickels may not seem like a lot today but it was back then.
