The Excalibur, a Mandalay Bay property, is decorated in a medieval theme from its castle roof peaks to its decorative flooring. Guest entering the Las Vegas Boulevard entrance are greeted by a Prince and Princess, a medieval horse drawn stagecoach and castle arches.
As you enter the Excalibur you'll see a waterfall which protrudes through the floor from the lower level and decorative armor surrounding the walls. The lower level has a rather large family video arcade with speciality shops which will keep you and the youngsters entertained for hours.
As you enter the casino area you'll see the registration desk on your left, a couple of speciality stores to your right. Opened June 10, 1990, the Excalibur has 4,030 rooms and suites and plenty of gaming action in the 100,000-square-foot casino. The Excalibur has 2,575 slot and video machines with the latest games, Megabucks, Quartermania, Nevada Nickels progressives, 83 gaming tables offering Blackjack, Mini- Baccarat, Caribbean Stud Poker, Craps, Pai Gow Poker, Poker, 7-card Stud, Texas Hold' em, Keno and a Race and Sports Book.
The escalator in the middle of the casino takes you to the 2nd level where you'll find 16 Village Shoppes and 6 restaurants offering every- thing from souvenirs to fine dining. Have a cool drink at the Village Pub, enjoy free entertainment at Jester's, casual fine dining in the Camelot or a meal at The Round Table Buffet. Treat yourself to a gourmet meal at Sir Galahad's Prime Rib House, enjoy 24-hour dining in the Sherwood Cafe, Pasta at the Lance-A-Lotta or a meal in Wild Bills Saloon & Steakhouse with a live band and classic western movies that will keep you entertained before and after your meal.

A very popular show in Las Vegas and Los Angeles is the medieval dinner show where you use your fingers to eat instead of traditional eating utensils as you cheer for your team of Knights in armor as they perform before you in the Arena of King Arthur's Tournament.
