Pinon Plaza is the first casino you'll come to traveling south on Hwy. 50 to Carson City. Its a clean, attractive complex with a large buffet restaurant, ample parking for automobiles and 70 RV's with full hook-ups - $16.00 a day plus tax, convenience store and a coin operated laundromat. Hotel accommodations, 64 rooms. Rates were $70 to $150 a night. Good Sam, AAA & AARP discounts were honored.
Pinon Plaza has a 32 lane state-of-the-art bowling center, video arcade, gift shop, children's nursery, 266 slot and video machines, 7 gaming tables, 1 craps table, keno and a sportsbook.
The buffet is Northern Nevada's only buffet with a Rotisserie and Mongolian Grill. The buffet was voted the best buffet in Carson City. Menu during our visit was Sunday prime rib, Monday tailgate barbeque, Tuesday south of the border, Wednesday Italian with prime rib, Thursday corned beef & cabbage, Friday prime rib/seafood, Saturday rib. Prices subject to change, plus taxes.
