Tickets cost $44.95 plus tax for table seating, $54.95 for booth seating at the 8:00 pm shows, $39.95 and $49.95 for the 10:00 pm shows, dark on Thursday's. Believe it or not -- the "Folies Bergere" first appeared at the Tropicana on December 24, 1959, over ...... forty years ago. Lou Walters, the entertainment Director brought the famed French revue to the Tropicana's "Fountain Theater" directly from Paris. And yes, he is the father of news correspondent Barbara Walters. In 1975, the show moved from the Fountain Theatre to the Tiffany Theatre where it still runs today. As a result of the show, the Tropicana became known as the "Home of the Most Beautiful Women in the World." Felicia Atkins, one of the show girls, appeared as a centerfold in Playboy Magazine
